The SFA Group acts against all forms of corruption

Anti-corruption

The fight against corruption is a clear commitment of the SFA Group.

Corruption is "an offer or receipt of any gift, loan, fee, reward or other benefit, as an inducement to do something that is dishonest, illegal or a breach of trust, in the conduct of business".

Corruption threatens good governance, sustainable economic development, and fair business practices.

It contributes to political, social, and economic instability within a country and threatens the safety and security of civil society. It also creates a breeding ground for organised crime and even terrorism. For this reason, the SFA Group believes that corruption is unacceptable and that all members of the Group's staff must behave impeccably to combat it.

To prevent and detect acts of corruption and influence peddling, the SFA Group has drawn up an Anti-Corruption Code of Conduct and Whistleblower Procedure. They define the SFA Group's commitments and principles in this area across all its entities.

The Anti-Corruption Code of Conduct was drawn up in accordance with Article 17 of the "Sapin 2" law of 9 December 2016 and is based on the recommendations of the French Anti-Corruption Agency (AFA, Recommendations relating to the code of conduct, September 2018).

An Ethics Committee has been set up to receive, analyse and deal with all reports that could violate the Code of Conduct.

All CSR managers, members of the Ethics Committee, the CSR Committee as well as local CSR representatives have been trained by a specialised law firm on the ethical practices that must be applied in the daily work within the SFA Group.

Our ethical culture is integrated in all our strategies, actions, and decisions of the Group. Thus, our ethical rules and principles apply to all our internal procedures, but also in our relations with our customers, suppliers, partners, or other external stakeholders.

Fighting corruption also means strictly respecting the laws and regulations applicable in all countries where the Group operates.

Thanks to everyone's commitment in this area that the SFA Group continues to grow in respect of a set of strong principles and values that form the basis of our identity and guide our actions.
