Pink October 2025: The SFA Group unites for awareness and solidarity
Every October, teams across the SFA Group come together to support the fight against breast cancer. Once again this year, through local and heartfelt initiatives, our employees showed that care, prevention, and solidarity are at the core of SFA Group’s culture.
France: solidarity and engagement at every level
In France, the 2025 Pink October campaign was led by SFA France’s Commercial team, which launched a special fundraising sales initiative throughout October and November.
For every “Adaptable” or “Compact” unit sold, €1 is donated to the Institut Curie, supporting cancer research and patient care.
At the headquarters, the CSR team ran an awareness campaign for employees, featuring an information booth about prevention and a pink ribbon sale, with all proceeds also going to the Institut Curie..
Across SFA’s French sites, teams took part in creative and generous local initiatives:
SETMA – on October 10, employees wore pink for a group photo in support of Octobre Rose, before joining the local “Ciotadenne Rose” community event the next day — a solidarity day featuring a 5 km run, 3 km walk, beach yoga, and an inclusive fashion show.
Aquaproduction – On October 16, the site participated in the “Défi Rose” challenge, inviting everyone to wear or accessorize in pink. For each participant, €10 was donated to the Institut Curie, spreading the message: “Le dépistage sauve des vies” (Early detection saves lives).
SFA Brégy – On October 20, employees from Sanipro, Motelec, and TSE joined forces under the motto “1 pink item worn = €10 donated”, resulting in a contribution to Ruban Rose. The local CSE also organized a pink ribbon pin sale and team photos, symbolizing unity and support across all departments.
Canada: supporting strength and resilience
In Canada, SFA Saniflo proudly sponsored the Ribbons of Hope dragon boat team — a group of breast cancer survivors who share a message of hope, courage, and life after cancer.
Through a $1,000 sponsorship, SFA Saniflo supports their 2025 season, helping raise awareness and celebrating the strength and resilience of survivors.
“Supporting Ribbons of Hope is a natural reflection of our values — caring for people, our employees, our customers, and our communities,” explains Phil Warren, Managing Director at SFA Saniflo Canada.
This partnership had special meaning for the Canadian team, who honored the courage of Claudia St-Denis, a valued colleague and breast cancer survivor.
United States: turning pink for a cause
To mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month, SFA Saniflo USA held a meaningful event combining awareness and action.
Employees came together for Wear It Pink Day, donning pink attire to demonstrate their solidarity and raise funds for the American Cancer Society (ACS). This initiative fostered a sense of unity and reflection throughout the company, honouring those affected by cancer while promoting the importance of early detection and education.
Saniflo also made a corporate donation to the ACS to advance cancer research and support vital patient programmes nationwide.
The ACS is a leading health organisation that funds innovative research and provides essential services such as transportation to treatment, complimentary lodging near hospitals, and 24/7 support through its helpline. Saniflo’s contribution supports these efforts, helping patients and families across the country.
“Cancer has affected many individuals and families, including those within our Saniflo community,” says Giulio Marcato, Country Manager at SFA Saniflo USA. 'In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we are proud to raise awareness and contribute to the ACS's research and patient services. Together, we can help make a lasting difference.”
This combination of personal engagement and corporate giving highlights Saniflo’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility, reinforcing its dedication to health, compassion and solidarity.
United Kingdom: warmth, generosity, and team spirit
In the UK, the SFA UK team once again embraced Breast Cancer Awareness Month with energy and generosity — wearing pink and hosting a charity bake sale to raise funds for Cancer Research UK (CRUK).
The event followed other charity activities throughout the month, including fun games and a raffle, all organized to bring people together for a meaningful cause.
Together for Pink October
Across all SFA Group entities, employees joined forces to raise awareness, promote prevention, and support research in the fight against breast cancer.
These actions reflect a shared conviction that solidarity and small gestures can make a big difference.
